Monica Rossi

Born 1965 Anthropologist (MA Hns.) and Sociologist (PhD). Author of Socio Anthropological documentaries. From 2001 to 2005 has been appointed as a temporary Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the University of Molise. Participated to various researches on Ethnic Minorities in the urban context of Rome, and more generally on the themes of Roma and migrants integration and social exclusion. In particular she worked and documented many of the Roma encampments in Rome where she work since 1990. Has written articles on Roma´s processes of integration and participated to several international conferences on this theme.
