Dr. Axel Kreienbrink

Born 1968; studies in History, Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Osnabrück (Germany) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). M.A. in 1999 with a thesis on German emigration to Latin America. Member of the Graduate School "Migration in modern Europe" at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at the University of Osnabrück 1999-2001. PhD in 2004 with a thesis on the development of Spanish migration policy. Since 2005 member of the migration research unit at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Nuremberg (Germany). Since 2007 Head of Unit of Research Field I "International and Irregular Migration, Islam, Demography, Research Transfer".
