Current position: program officer for migration and integration at Robert Bosch Stiftung; previously, policy advisor with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (Germany), and consultant to the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Ev. Jugendsozialarbeit; visiting lecturer at University of Passau and DH Villingen-Schwenningen

Hannes holds a PhD and a diploma in international cultural and business studies from the University of Passau, Germany; he studied at the University of Passau and Universidad de Concepción, Chile.
