Anca Cristina Pristavu

Born 1978, I have graduated the Faculty of Law in 2001, specialized in International Public Law and Refugee Law. For many years I have worked as volunteer for legal counselling of asylum seekers, under the supervision of UNHCR. In 2002, I have become a policy office on migration and asylum matters in the Ministry of Interior of Romania. After 5 years, I was appointed as liaison officer in Brussels, working as JHA migration counsellor in the Permanent Represenattion of RO to the EU. The most important success project was the creation of the Black Sea Cooperation Platform on Migration and Development in 2008. Since September 2009, I am a EU migration policy officer in the Romanian Immigration Office.
