Knut Djupedal
Born 1948 in Norway. Emigrated as a child to the USA, returned to Norway as an adult and settled there. BA and MA in History from American universities, MA in Folklore from University of Bergen. Research Associate with Norwegian Research Council 1986-1990 on topics of emigration and return migration. Since 1991 director of The Norwegian Emigrant Museum, Norway´s only museum devoted solely to the story of the Norwegian diaspora.
